Hello Enigmans, Enigmaniacs, and Enigmata! We're excited to announce the 40-year anniversary of Enigma, scheduled for 2026!

Celebrating 40 Years of Enigma

Over the past 40 years, we have explored the worlds of science fiction, fantasy, horror, LARPs, tabletop RPGs, board games, and every kind of nerd- and geekdom at UCLA. We hope you will join us in 2026 to celebrate our past, present, and future.

How to Participate

  • RSVP to our form if you haven't already (note this is a new form from the Interest Form that was sent a couple months ago)
  • Contact us at or on Discord to get involved with planning, share ideas for events, or ask any questions
  • Pull out your archives of photos, documents, flyers, and props from every era! We want to see the records of Enigma history
  • Find your way to Los Angeles in January 2026!

Get Involved!

  • Give us quick feedback on events or submit ideas for LARPS and other events here!
  • Two specific events need some quick survey responses -- Family Feud and a Slideshow of Popular Activities through Enigma history. Please give us your answers here!
  • Pull out your archives of photos, documents, flyers, and props from every era! We want to see the records of Enigma history.
  • If you have physical artifacts to display at the anniversary, click here!
  • Please directly email all digital media (scans, photos, videos, etc.) to and include a date and brief description (to the best of your ability)
  • If you are interested in providing a short, self-taped video of yourself talking about Enigma that will play on a loop at Enigmaversary, please click here!
  • Additionally, we want to create a 30-minute documentary about the club as a whole, and how it has changed over the last 40 years. The last two (optional) questions on the form above are for this purpose.

Friday Jan. 16

Gaming and Zombie Tag in the evening at UCLA

Saturday Jan. 17

All-day extravaganza at a house in central LA

with festivities, group games, celebrations of Enigma history, potluck lunch, and taco truck dinner

Sunday Jan. 18

Gaming, ultimate frisbee, basketball, and other activities at UCLA or across town

Paid group dinner at a Westwood restaurant

Monday Jan 19

Nothing official!
